April has 14 years experience in the financial industry. In April 2011, she joined Beach & Associates as a Financial and Insurance Advisor. In January 2022, April became the Owner/President of Beach, Blake and Associates Financial Services, LLC. She currently holds her Series 6, 63, 65 and Virginia life, health and annuities license. April is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative of Interactive Financial Advisors as well as a Registered Representative with Fortune Financial Services, Inc. April currently is a member of the Fauquier Chamber and serves as President of the Wednesday Morning Leadshare. She was a 2024 cohort of Leadership Fauquier; a community leadership program that provides its cohorts knowledge, skills and connections to grow personally and professionally as leaders within their community and beyond.

Personal Information:

April grew up in Bealeton, VA and is a graduate of Liberty High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Public Relations from Bridgewater College. She graduated with magna cum laude honors. After college, April returned to her hometown and began working for Smith-Midland and EasiSet Industries as the Executive Director of Advertising. After leaving, April worked for a Merchant Banking firm where she held the roles of Manager of Corporate Communications and Assistant to the Chairman. After four and a half years in her dual position, she took on the role of Manager of Human Resources with a subsidiary Government Contractor based out of Fairfax, VA. While in this position, she earned her Certificate for Human Resource Management from George Mason University. April currently resides in her hometown of Goldvein, VA with her husband Kevin and daughter Avery. She has been passionate about devoting her time to her community and has volunteered with organizations such as Shelter House, Abolish Child Trafficking Now, and her daughters school parent/teacher organization.
